SELECTED MAKER

Povey, Christine
Jewellery

The way that I make jewellery means that pieces are one off and difficult to replicate, with hammered decoration and an unpolished finish. I use pebbles from local beaches and semi precious stones that I cut, shape, and drill.

Occasionally I use 18ct gold to make beads and for decoration on bangles or rings. With not being sure how a piece is going to turn out this means it is more interesting for me to make, which I enjoy.

Commissions considered.
