My printmaking has always featured St.lves where I live, the theme of love, and the events that take place above and below the sea. Now that new lives have come into the family, children and tales have crept into my pictures.

In 2005 I illustrated a book by Angela Stoner "Once in a Blue Moon" a tale about a fisherman and a mermaid. Glebe Cottage Studio publishes a range of greeting cards using my artwork.

I work preparing my collagraph plates in my studio in St. Ives and print my images at the Porthmeor Print workshop in the company of fellow printmakers.

Collagraphs fulfil both my needs to draw and to make. I usually print in editions of 50, the most exciting moment being throwing back the blankets, peeling off the damp paper and the image has worked to my satisfaction!

A long time member of Cornwall Crafts my work is also in many other galleries mainly in the West Country but also as far away as Scotland and the Shetland Isles.
