The versatility of the etching medium has always intrigued me, from the velvety tonal effect of aquatint, through textures and patterns to the intricate line of soft and hard ground.

My work is mainly representational and of an illustrative nature. My home, garden, pets and the immediate landscape provide my subject matter with the occasional foray into pure imagination.

I have exhibited in mixed exhibitions, such as the Royal Academy Summer Show, The new English Art Club, Royal Society of Painters Etchers and the St. Ives Society of Artists.
