Sharon trained at St Martins School of Art, London, gaining a B.A. in Fashion and Textiles in 1976. Since then she has been exploring and developing her own unique style of hand-painting directly on to natural fabrics, mostly silks, cottons and velvets.

"I love colour, and would like to bring a splash of it to everyone's life with my scarves, bags and jackets. The luminosity of silk and velvet enhances the vibrant colours 1 see in the petals of the flowers I paint, as well as abstract designs and Comish scenes."
