Plain forms worked to a completly smooth finish suit best the feeling I try to instil in this work while creating items that are spare and minimal. This is mainly comprised of thrown black and white glazed bowls and vases with a simple motif cut into the glaze....veins in rock, ripples on water and meandering horizon lines are an influence.
I trained on the Harrow course (University of Westminster 1993-96) after which I set up studio at the Chocolate Factory in Hackney, working from there for several years before moving to Cornwall. Based at Gaolyard Studios in St Ives since then.
