My work is based on fabric and stitch and is often experimental. I use a variety of collage and fabric building techniques, incorporating both hand stitching and free machine embroidery.
Colour dominates in some work and texture takes centre stage in my ‘white’ pieces.
Themes include time passing and the concept of change as well as the significance of everyday objects, events and rituals in our lives.

My framed pieces are supported by work on canvas, felted vessels, hand-made cards and a range of unusual stitched jewellery.
