My new range of porcelain objects are the result of my lengthy research and experimentations to create a fresh and different collection of colourful pieces which will continue to represent and demonstrate my love of design and ceramic forms. This time I have paid homage to 1950’s design with ‘Cubes & Bottles’. The colour pallet I have chosen is a combination of cool but strong blues, greens turquoise’s and limes which contrast against white and luxurious Platinum luster. Central to the designs is the use of crude, black or white outlines and 1950‘s inspired designs applied using a combination of different techniques and firing processes. The porcelain forms which include simple vessels, tall sculptural jugs plates and wall art are slab built to complement and fit the current range that I have called ‘Cube and bottle’.
