Jewellery
I began making sculpture and have a degree in fine art. My work was selected for ‘the New Contemporary Award’ and has been exhibited at the I.C.A, London, Cornerhouse, Manchester and Dean Clough, Halifax, amongst others.
After a year studying jewellery making in London I began working as a jewellery designer. For six years I was employed as a maker/designer for award winning jeweller Diana Porter, before relocating to Cornwall and setting up my own business.
I make contemporary designer jewellery in silver and gold. Many pieces have moving parts that jingle, tickle and sparkle and are there to be plated with. I am inspired by the beauty and edginess I see in my surroundings. My jewellery retains a strong sculptural feel and combines strength with femininity; this is jewellery for women who can chop wood whist wearing a dress!
