CHAIRMAN; Paul Jackson Paul Jackson qualifies in Studio Ceramics in 1977 at Harrow School of Art. Following a short period teaching in London, he relocated to Cornwall, where he established his pottery in 1979. He moved to his present home at Helland Bridge, where he works in a studio converted from an old chapel in 1989. He has exhibited regularly and widely in both the UK and the US, and his work can be found in many major galleries. TRUSTEES; Nicky Mills Nicky is a self taught designer/maker producing her work from her home; a delightful converted coach house situated in the very heart ofHelston, an old market townim the South of Cornwall. Nicky started Knicky Knitwear in the early 1970’s making knitwear for adults and soon became an exhibiting member of Cornwall Crafts Association. After starting a family Nicky branched out into children’s wear. Sally Wills Sally has lived in Cornwall for 30 years and works from her studio near the Helford River. The highly individual craft of batik has fascinated Sally for many years and the majority of her work is in this medium. Sally also enjoys printmaking, life drawing and mosaic work. She has recently been running workshops from her home, where she encourages her students to have fun. Maxine Symons Maxine was born in Bissoe in Cornwall. She studied at The Royal College of Music and lived in London for many years. After a long career as a professional Opera Singer, she returned to Cornwall and now lives near Crowan. Maxine now designs and makes jewellery using real cultured freshwater pearls, sterling silver and gold. Marie-Louise Denny Marie-Louise is a knitwear designer. She makes sells and promotes her from her studio in an artist collective in Redruth. Marie–Louse shows at many of the national trade fairs where she sells her work throughout the UK and the Continent Naomi Singer Naomi graduated from Falmouth University in 2077 with a B.A. Hons.in Contemporary Crafts. After studying a wide range of traditional and contemporary craft practice Naomi elected to specialise in kiln-formed glass, providing her with the necessary skills to create her own pieces. Since graduating Naomi has been making and selling her fused glass in a number of galleries and shows. Naomi is a member of The Devon Guild of Craftsmen and works in an artist collective in, Cornwall. Carol Scott Carol is a potter who works in white earthenware clay; she throws her work on the wheel and decorates it in vibrant slips. Carol works from her studio on her smallholding converted from an old threshing house. Nicholas Langan Nicholas has been working with wood since 1994 and trained as a furniture designer maker in Cornwall. Whilst training and for the first few years after qualifying Nichol;as worked for other furniture makers in Cornwall and Dorset, which helped to further his knowledge and skills in the craft of furniture making.In 2003 Nicholas returned to Cornwall with the intention of striking out on his own. Nicholas soon established his company Journeyman Furniture which is now based on the harbour in Hayle.
Gunni Crowther
She was a founder member of the CCA. She is a fashion designer, quilter and painter. She was the first manager of the CCA Trelissick Gallery.
Lynn King
Lynn King has a degree in Printed Textiles and Fine Art. She is a rug maker. She was the gallery manager at Trelissick from 1992 to 2005.
Margaret Way
1972. Founder member of the CCA. Exhibited as a working potter at the first show.Assisted with the conversion of the Trelowarren stables to a gallery. 1975. Took over as the Organiser from Pat Cross who went to America.1978. Negotiated and dealt with the conversion of the new gallery at Pencarrow House, organised crafts to fill the second CCA venue. Appointed a manager and set up the galler, meanwhile supervised Trelowarren with part-time staff.1985. Supervised the closure of Pencarrow.1988. Continued the supervision the Trelowarren Gallery, following the appointment of Rod Shaw-Sands. Negotiated, with others, with the National Trust to open the Trelissick Gallery with Gunni Crowther as the manager.1988-1997. Resigned as the overall organiser following the appointment of the two gallery managers but continued to act as the CCA secretary and treasurer.1997-2002. Following the reorganisation of the staffing structure, she became the treasurer of the CCA, responsible for changing the format of accounting from manual to computer.1972-2002 Continued to exhibit ceramics in most shows. Twice during this time took the CCA work to the Chelsea Crafts Fair and also with others, visited Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Highgrove with CCA work by members, for HRH Prince Charles to choose his Christmas gifts.2002-2007 Committee member of the CCA.

Jason Cleverly
Jason is the Course Leader for Design and Contemporary Crafts BA (Hons) at Univesity College Falmouth.
Jason is an Applied Artist who designs and makes automata, furniture and sculptural pieces. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally from Ireland to Chicago. He has recently completed an interactive exhibit for the Museum of The Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Jason specialises in helping students with their design development from ideas generation to evolution, as well as the way in which their work can be displayed and interpreted by an audience.
